From Peru to Tokaj: A Sloth’s Journey
The Sloth That Journeyed from Peru to Tokaj
Some travel thousands of kilometres for a holiday. Minaro’s newest resident, however, travelled in search of a new beginning.
Thanks to an international wildlife rescue programme, our sloth made the journey from Peru to Hungary and has now found a new home at Minaro. Behind the reception, a specially designed Amazon-inspired habitat awaits, carefully created to reflect its natural environment with lush vegetation, climbing structures, the ideal temperature and humidity, providing a safe and peaceful home.
Sloths are perhaps nature’s greatest reminder that life is not about rushing. They never hurry. They never rush from one moment to the next. Instead, they simply enjoy the present. It’s exactly this philosophy that we hope our guests will experience during their stay at Minaro.
There is just one thing still missing…
A name.
