Our aim is to create meaningful experiences that bring visitors, local communities and the living traditions of the wine region closer together.

Inspired by this philosophy, we are delighted to present Tokaj Heritage Day, organised in collaboration with Máriásy Winery. This special event invites our guests to experience the authentic atmosphere of the harvest and follow the journey of the grape from vine to glass. Participants can take part in the harvest, discover the history and natural characteristics of the wine region, and taste Tokaj’s distinctive wines and freshly pressed grape must.

This day is dedicated to local heritage, genuine human connections and memorable moments shared together—everything that has made Tokaj so special for generations.

Programme:

11:00 – Arrival and welcome
Meet at Máriásy Winery for a warm ceremonial welcome.

11:15 – Departure for the vineyards
We will walk together to the harvest site, where guests can personally take part in picking the grapes. All necessary harvesting equipment will be provided by the winery.

11:45 – Harvest experience in the vineyard
Guests will participate in the harvest before helping to load the filled crates for transportation back to the winery.

12:00 – Discovering the Tokaj wine region
We will walk to the highest point of the estate while a representative of Máriásy Winery introduces the history, distinctive vineyard sites and volcanic characteristics of the region.

At this panoramic location, guests will enjoy a picnic accompanied by a guided wine tasting.
